Mrs. Dawn Lee is a highly experienced Head of Art with over 18 years of leadership and teaching expertise. Her journey in education began with the acquisition of a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, paving the way for a successful career as the Head of an Art Department in England. Following more than a decade of leadership and teaching in the UK, Dawn embarked on an international teaching adventure, becoming a key member in the establishment of Nanwai King’s College School Wuxi, a pioneering collaboration between King’s College School Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School in China.
Throughout her career, Dawn has consistently exhibited strong leadership qualities, both in the UK and China. Dawn’s passion truly shines when she spearheads whole-school initiatives aimed at fostering a sense of community, boosting self-confidence, and enhancing pupils’ artistic abilities and experiences. She is eager to introduce a multitude of innovative projects to Stonyhurst International School Penang, such as community murals, cultural competitions, and interactive Art Exhibitions within the school. At Stonyhurst International School Penang, Dawn leads the development of the Art department with a vision that encompasses a holistic, challenging, and engaging learning experience. Her fervour lies in collaborating with international pupils to create art that not only honours traditions but also deepens their comprehension of both modern and classical Art forms.
