Kerry Moore was born in France and grew up in Belgium and Italy where her love of languages flourished. She achieved a BA Single Honours in French at University College London and completed her PGCE with the University of Leeds. She has worked as a languages teacher (French, Italian and Spanish) for over 20 years, with 15 years’ experience in the UK – many of which as a Head of Languages Faculty and Head of Year. More recently, she was Assistant Head at a British school in Cairo and has enjoyed working with schools that place great emphasis on nurturing positive and wholesome values. She is currently enrolled in the final stages of a Masters in Advanced Teaching and was recently awarded the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership by the Department for Education.

Kerry Moore has a particular interest in the effective use of formative feedback to enhance student learning. Whilst working in Egypt, she took part as a member of a panel focussing on formative assessment in the virtual Outstanding Schools of the Middle East annual conference.

Her daughter, Amy lives and works in London and her daughter Holly, is currently enrolled at Stonyhurst Penang.
