Mr Daniel Wilde brings 11 years of educational experience, most recently at two of the UK’s most prestigious boarding schools. He holds a 1st Class Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Mathematics and Physics from the University of Warwick, UK. Subsequently, Daniel researched Quantum Gravity under renowned physicist Carlo Rovelli in France, before earning a PGCE with Distinction from the University of Nottingham, UK.
Guided by his personal motto — Inspiration, Ambition, and Equality for All — Daniel researches increasing female representation in STEM, and mentors his team in successful techniques which equip girls to thrive in Science. His passion for developing individual strengths has secured pupils places at Oxford and other top universities. As Head of Science, Daniel has a strong vision for Stonyhurst Penang pupils to match this excellence.
Beyond teaching, Daniel loves hiking, history, and environmental conservation. Having travelled extensively with his wife and children, he favours Malaysia for its vibrant culture and biodiversity. Daniel is proud that his sons are part of the Stonyhurst Penang community.
