Mr Stallard graduated from the University of Lincoln, England, with a BA honours degree in Theatre Arts. He has then gone on to amass 16 years of teaching the English National Curriculum at large secondary schools in the UK.

Within 12 months of completing his teacher training year, Mr Stallard was appointed Deputy Head of English where he began to refine his teaching style alongside developing his ability to lead others. After a short period of time, Mr Stallard was made Head of English. Over an 8-year period, he oversaw improvement after improvement in both English Language and Literature courses; with students working well above the nationally expected ranges in Literature. Ready for his next step, Mr Stallard undertook the role of Assistant Headteacher for an academy. Throughout his time in teaching, he has strived to improve his knowledge and this commitment has seen him gain his senior leadership qualification at the National College (NPQSL).

Alongside this, Mr Stallard still found time to play football and coach school football teams.

Mr Stallard holds values-based education and customised, collaborative learning in high regard. It is this shared belief that drew him to Stonyhurst. He will be joining us in Penang with his wife and two children.
