Scott is an accomplished educational leader with extensive international experience, currently serving as both Head of Psychology and Head of Sixth Form in Bangkok, Thailand. Passionate about the transformative power of education, Scott brings a deep enthusiasm for psychology into every classroom, inspiring pupils to think critically, reflect deeply, and engage fully with the subject.
Scott has successfully led sixth form teams across a range of prestigious international schools in Hong Kong, Bahrain, Shanghai and Malaysia, his favourite country, and one he is delighted to return to here in Penang. In each role, he has been instrumental in shaping thriving sixth form communities, enhancing academic outcomes, and supporting pupils’ holistic development. His global perspective and commitment to excellence have equipped pupils with the skills and confidence needed to excel at A level study and beyond.
With a leadership style rooted in empathy, agency, and high expectations, Scott is dedicated to fostering an environment where both pupils and staff can flourish. Although no longer a competitor, Scott enjoys all sports, whether as a spectator, coach, or referee.
