Mrs Esme Melody completed her Undergraduate Studies in Social Work at the University of Leeds and then went on to do her PGCE at Leeds Trinity University. Prior to moving to Malaysia, Esme taught in a primary school in Bradford, England. Esme is particularly passionate about the music and drama and enjoys incorporating this into her lessons whenever possible.
Since she was little Esme has always enjoyed playing instruments and singing in choirs and bands. Esme is also passionate about musical theatre and has been in a variety of plays and musicals since she was a young girl. Esme enjoys playing sports, spending time with friends and family and trying delicious new foods. Esme and her husband James moved to Penang in January. Following her first year as a Year 3 teacher with Stonyhurst International School, Penang, Esme has moved to Year 2 where she will work as both a classroom teacher and our Head of Pre-Prep.
