Mrs. Meg originally from Perth Australia, is an experienced Head of Art and Art educator with over 13 years of international teaching expertise. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Fine Arts and Education.
Meg, along with her husband, have lived and worked in Australia, England, Egypt, China, Ukraine, and the Seychelles. Currently she is living in Malaysia and is hoping to settle here long term.
Meg believes in a fair and inclusive approach to education, where pupil choice is vital, and is passionate about how art reflects and shapes culture.
In addition, Meg is also a dedicated artist. She has her own art studio outside of school hours, and has exhibited her art in multiple countries, allowing her to connect with a wide range of audiences and share her work on the global stage.
Her experience as an artist and teacher go hand in hand, with her studio practice informing her teaching methods. Outside of teaching and creating, Meg enjoys visiting art galleries, museums, and cafes. Recently, she has become increasingly curious about ceramics, an interest she hopes to bring to Stonyhurst Penang.
