Doreen Cheah is a qualified interior designer who holds a Diploma in Interior Design. Her creative foundation has shaped her artistic perspective and deepened her appreciation for design, aesthetics, and visual expression. Over time, her passion for creativity has naturally extended into her work with children, where she meaningfully integrates art with education.
Driven by her love and dedication to young learners, Doreen pursued studies in Special Education to develop the knowledge and skills needed to support children with diverse learning and developmental needs. She is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and supported throughout their learning journey.
Art remains central to Doreen’s teaching philosophy. She believes that art is a powerful medium for communication, confidence-building, and self-discovery. Through creative exploration, she encourages students to think independently, express themselves freely, and discover their unique voices, strengths, and talents.
Beyond the classroom, Doreen enjoys reading, travelling, and exploring new cultures. She values lifelong learning and finds peace and renewal in nature, which continue to inspire both her life and her art.
