Mr Neil Grahame graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, with an MA honours degree in English and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

He completed his probationary teacher year at one of Scotland’s top-performing state schools, Cults Academy, before working for four years in secondary schools in Aberdeenshire. He has been in international education for fifteen years, teaching in Thailand and Brunei before working at Dulwich College Beijing where he was Head of Year 7 and 8.

His most recent role was Faculty Leader of Language and Literature at the British School Jakarta, Indonesia. Throughout his career, Mr Grahame has developed a strong belief in values-based education and personalised learning through his extensive experience in teaching and pastoral roles – and it is this shared belief that attracted him to Stonyhurst.
