Vitya is thrilled to be joining the Stonyhurst family as an EAL teacher. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in English Education from University of Tunku Abdul Rahman. With more than 8 years of experience teaching EAL and ESL in Private and International schools, she is keen to develop and implement curriculum, manage classrooms, and help students advance their understanding of English language as well as mastering the communicative skills to be confident English speakers. She has a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching.

She’s extremely enthusiastic about cultural and language immersion.

A firm believer herself that every child matters, her aim is to instil a lifelong passion for learning within students and assist them in realising their true talent. She truly believes that each pupil is an individual and unique with a range of experiences and talents that must be recognised and nurtured for them to thrive and flourish. She is dedicated in providing her pupils with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment in which they can grow mentally, emotionally, and socially.

Vitya loves learning about new cultures, trying new food, and generally doing something a bit different. When she’s not travelling, most of her weekends involve exploring new cafes, watching Netflix, listening to music or unwind with a good book. A keen learner herself, she’s excited to be part of a school with such diversity, where she can share and learn from everyone. She looks forward in meeting the students, parents, and staff real soon.
